It's the eve of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Watergate break-in...and to mark the historic event...a posh reception was held Monday night at the Watergate hotel in the nation's capital. Adding to the fun was a bogus Richard Nixon who insists he isn't a crook and was busy stuffing cassette tape into his pockets along with shredded newspaper. The Watergate Hotel opened its doors tonight to more than 300 of Washington's elite. One of the main attractions was a table of Nixon buttons, photographs, posters and other memorabilia. The drinks were served by waiters dressed as the secret service.
