British-German naval actions, World War II. Montage of clips of British warships and the scuttled German cruiser 'Admiral Graf Spee' during actions in 1939 in the Atlantic Ocean during World War II (1939-1945). The Graf Spee took part in the Battle of the River Plate in 1939. It was not sunk during the battle, but scuttled by its commander following the battle. The final ship in the clip is the destroyer HMS Cossack (F03).
