THE SCRAMBLED SCRAPBOOK
"Old photos, stray sketches, have a place in the heart of most of us. But, supposing they came to life?"

M/S of a man working at a drawing board. C/U of his drawing. It is a line drawing of three men riding horses. We see the artists hand in shot shading in the sky and grass. Shading continues then the drawing "magically" turns into a photograph, the photograph then turns into moving picture film. We see the horses move. It is a rodeo.

"A flash of life, rising in our memory takes form." A torn photograph appears magically to reform (film reversal is used). The photograph then "comes to life" and turns into moving images of a man hurdling. "Bit by bit the old sporting thrills come back to us. And our unique slow-stop-forward-reverse-camera makes them live again!" Again a torn photograph reforms. It is hard to ascertain what the photograph represents due to serious decomposition. Probably pole vaulting.

Was an item in Pathe Pictorial issue number 628.

Safety print only.

Note: the original from which this print was struck had already suffered quite bad decomposition - the story is probably unusable.
