A large crowd gathered at the Mississippi Economic Council silver anniversary meeting in Jackson, Mississippi, held at the Coliseum. President Nixon enters the meeting auditorium with his wife Pat. Whole of the crowd in auditorium applauds. Officials greet and welcome them on stage. Mississippi Governor William L Waller gives introductory address and praises Nixon's concern for Mississippi. President Nixon listens carefully to his words and shakes hands with him as he finishes his speech.
