And I'm getting some e-mails, some wild e-mails in the last day or two, suggesting why it's come back to me, for whether it's a religious point of view or whether it's social. Some people have even e-mailed me and say they've got some hope out of this thing. So, there's hope. Well, they get something back after 37 years, I'm not sure we all want that." 18. Wide of police pushing car STORYLINE: A Corvette stolen in New York 37 years ago was returned to its owner on Tuesday after nearly being shipped off to Sweden. The stolen 1968 Chevrolet Corvette was returned to Alan Poster, its original owner, by representatives of US Customs and Border Protection, the California Highway Patrol and the National Insurance Crime Bureau. The car was seized at the Port of Long Beach before it could be shipped to a new owner in Stockholm, Sweden, who did not know the car had been stolen. Mr Poster said he planned to restore the car and then give it to his daughter. Unfortunately, Mr Poster couldn't speed away in his newly found classic car. The vehicle was unable to be driven because it had no fuel tank nor transmission.
